1. Who we are
The GENIKI THERMANSEON engineering tools ("the tools") at ergaleia.genikithermanseon.gr are operated by GENIKI THERMANSEON GROUP SA, Greece. Contact: petros@genikithermanseon.gr.
2. What we collect
When you register we collect your email and the profile details you provide (full name, company, role/profession, country, optional phone). For registered users we also record which calculation methods you use and when ("usage events"). Separately, and for everyone including visitors who never register, we keep a daily count of how many times each calculator was opened, used, printed or saved. That count carries no identifier of any kind — no visitor id, no cookie, no IP address, no browser details, and none of the values you enter. It can tell us that a tool was used two hundred times in a day; it cannot tell us by whom, and it cannot distinguish one person from another.
3. Why we process it (lawful basis)
To give you access to the free tool and operate your account (performance of a contract / legitimate interest); to understand usage and improve the tool (legitimate interest); and to send product updates only if you opt in (consent).
4. Processors we use
Supabase (authentication and database hosting, EU region); Cloudflare (hosting, bot protection via Turnstile, and cookieless traffic analytics); Resend (sending the owner a signup notification and your sign-in emails); Google (only if you choose "Continue with Google"). These providers process data on our behalf under their own terms.
5. International transfers
Data is stored in the EU. Some processors may process limited data outside the EU under appropriate safeguards.
6. Retention
We keep your account and profile data until you ask us to delete it. You can request deletion at any time (see contact).
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and port your data, and to object to processing and withdraw consent. To exercise these, email petros@genikithermanseon.gr. You may also complain to the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (www.dpa.gr).
8. Cookies / local storage
We use only what is necessary to run the tool: authentication tokens to keep you signed in, and your last inputs kept in your own browser so a calculator is not blank when you return. Both stay on your device. We set no advertising cookies and no analytics identifier — the usage counts described in section 2, and the page-view statistics we keep, store nothing on your device at all.
9. Changes
We may update this policy; the "last updated" date will change accordingly.
